Another fabulous wine country destination wedding at Harvest Inn, St. Helena with Jacqueline Eigan of Wine Country Minister as the Officiant.

It is so satisfying to capture moments like this — the father of the bride giving his daughter a hug after walking her down the isle with the mother of the bride looking on. The mother of the bride even has a camera in her hands and I am so happy for her that she just soaked in the moment and left the capturing part to us. I believe this is a moment they will never forget.

Wine barrel fountain and greenery frames the ceremony site beautifully for this Napa-Stye Wedding.

The bride and groom exchange such an engaging look with each other as the bride slips the ring on the groom.

Pure joy and contentment.

This sequence was so cute to watch; their personalities and playful spirit really come through in these images. The bride acts so innocent after dotting frosting on the groom’s nose and cheek…and then cracks up laughing in the following photo.

The ring bearer was dressed in all white with adorable blonde curly hair.

I love the pleasing expression on the groom’s face as he looks at the ring on his bride’s hand and the way she looks at him.

In a beautiful intimate ceremony, Stefanie and Richard were married in St. Helena with their families in attendance. I love the abundance of color and texture at the Harvest Inn for photographs.

I can’t help but think every time I see a father walking his daughter down the isle on her wedding day what must be going through both of their minds in that brief space of time. The father may be thinking it doesn’t seem so long ago that this beautiful woman that stands before him today was his little girl in pig tails and today she would be embarking on the next chapter in her life.

The next chapter in her life . . . her smiling groom awaits.

Here is a true Napa Valley-Style wedding ceremony, complete with lush vineyards.

The Vin Rose lawn at Harvest Inn is the perfect secluded spot for a small wedding ceremony.

It is my wish that the bride will always remember the way she felt at this tender moment during the ceremony with her subtle smile and softly-closed eyes. As photographers, fleeting moments of emotion are some of the most satisfying parts of life to capture and always on the look-out for and anticipate.

Audrey & Matthew’s Wedding

They were married at Sylvan Lake Estate nestled up in the hills of Angwin, which is a beautiful, secluded property in Napa Valley. This first photo well illustrates the peaceful country feel of this estate.

The wild life on the property add to the charm.

This is the arbor they were married under. I was especially enamored of the hanging crystal-like beads that adorned the arbor and the way the light bounced off of the beads. The vibrant colors chosen by the bride for the table settings worked great and were complimentary to the lush green setting of the property.

The bride had a good vantage point of the processional, just behind the front doors of the house.

This was so cute — one of the flower girls gave a “thumbs up” when she walked down the isle.

Angie & Dan’s Wedding

Just in case you don’t know it by now, Napa Valley is one of the most popular spots for destination weddings. And rightly so. As wedding photographers we love the beautiful weather that we have here most of the year and the people we have the opportunity to meet from all over the country and beyond. Angie and Dan were married at Churchill Manor. Here are a few photos from their wedding day.

A popular trend we have been encountering for a while now are some couples choose to have a “first meet” prior to the ceremony. I think it helps a lot with the pre-wedding jitters and gives the couple some alone time before becoming husband and wife.

We chose this beautiful rose garden at Churchill Manor as a back drop for Angie and Dan’s “first meet”.

They had a variety of sweet bakery items–wedding cake, a groom’s cake and cup cakes.

And for each guest . . . a mini wedding cake cookie.

For their first dance, the bride changed from her wedding dress into another pretty gown.
