Our first big wedding of 2008 was the first weekend of January for Melinda and Jerry in Yountville.

Their first meeting. When we arrange pre-ceremony meetings for the bride and groom we always like to find a private area where they can just be themselves so that we can photograph the true interaction between the two of them without anyone interfering.

I was surprised to find this pretty pink rose just beginning to bud on a winter January day.

Their ceremony was held at a church in Yountville.
