They were married in St. Helena on New Year’s Eve at Harvest Inn with a small group of family and friends.

There are a lot of details at the Harvest Inn that I love to photograph, some seasonal, some permanent; here is a small detail of a cluster of grapes, which definitely incorporates Napa Valley wine country into the design.

The ceremony was held inside a cozy room in front of a large fireplace and was performed by Kimberly Thompson of A Beautiful Ceremony Napa Valley.

The last weekend of 2007 was our final large wedding of the year where Heather and Joe celebrated their marriage at the elegant Omni Hotel in San Francisco. With a little planning, we were able to photograph them on the cable car as it passed by the front of the hotel.

When we arrived at the hotel, we began with portraits of the bride and groom.

Heather’s bridal gown was complimented by this beautiful long veil.

A special meeting was arranged pre-ceremony so that Heather and Joe could see each other for the first time that day and spend a few quite moments together before the ceremony. We have a lot of couples that choose to do this as it gives them the opportunity to have most of their photos done before the ceremony so that they can enjoy the rest of the day with their family and friends.

The ceremony room inside the Omni Hotel has beautiful large windows that look out over the streets of San Francisco.

Red roses were in two arrangements atop gold pillars at the front of the ceremony site in front of the windows.

They were married on a Sunday afternoon with a small group of guests in attendance at Churchill Manor in Napa.

This intimate winter wedding ceremony was held inside the warmth of one of the beautiful parlors of Churchill Manor with Pastor Bob Groves as the officiant.

In another room of the elegant mansion, the bride and groom celebrated with a meal together with their guests. Each place setting had a gold box of Godiva chocolates.

The couple took a stroll for some outdoor photos on a chilly winter afternoon. Kelly wore a pretty cobalt blue sleeveless dress and in order to keep warm, she borrowed a wrap from one of her guests to wear in between shots.

They were married in Santa Rosa at the luxurious Vintner’s Inn on a Thursday afternoon. This was a destination wedding for the couple and they were accompanied by two of their friends.

MacArthur Place Inn and Spa was the destination for Colette and Brian’s elopement ceremony in Sonoma Valley. This is such a unique place for a wedding; every time we photograph there it seems we find something different and beautiful to photograph.

As this was a late afternoon ceremony, we made plans to do a majority of their photos pre-ceremony while there was still available daylight. Here is a beautiful silhouette of Colette, followed by a portrait.

The gardens at MacArthur place provide an abundance of opportunity for creating beautiful photos.





The ceremony took place at the Koi Pond and was performed by Peadar Dalton of Your Ceremony Matters.

They stood in front of a wrought iron arch trellis that had fresh greenery, white hydrangeas and other delicate white flowers. Each side of the trellis had a column with two beautiful white arrangements on them and a carpet of flower petals beneath their feet. They celebrated with champagne and cake in the Tack I room.

The room had beautiful ambience with a cozy fire in the fireplace.
