Nan & Norm’s Wedding

Their 5pm ceremony and reception was held at Silverado Resort in Napa on a beautiful fall evening.

Nan and Norm wanted to see each other and have all the portraits done prior to the ceremony so that they could go directly to their cocktail reception immediately following the ceremony.

A special “first meeting” of just the two of them took place prior to the ceremony.

The ceremony took place on the Fairway Deck over looking the golf course.

An interpretor using sign language was an important part of the ceremony.

This photo was taken right after the ring exchange.

I had envisioned photographing the wedding rings on golf balls. Thank you to Kimberlie Crego, Silverado’s wedding coordinator, who supplied these from the pro shop to make this shot possible!

For their first dance, they did a fox trot, which they had taken dance lessons for.

Then a special guest arrived . . . Nan managed to keep it a secret that she had arranged for an Elvis impersonator as a surprise for Norm to show up at the reception.

His expression says it all.

Some alone time at the end of the evening.

Congratulations!
